Our Wednesday in Pictures

Today wasn't a particularly exciting day, but honestly, I've come to appreciate the more mundane activities because I'm thankful to be spending time with my (usually) sweet little girl instead of dealing with the demands of teaching in the high school classroom. So here's a peek into our world...

Loading up the car to run errands
Entertaining herself during the car ride
Doing our part to help the environment :)
Mailing a present to Avery's soon-to-arrive cousin, Josie
Paying our outrageous electric bill
Perusing Hobby Lobby for drawer pulls (and nursery decor!)
Our Hobby Lobby finds of the day (light cover and wall hanging)
Picking up some strawberries and blueberries (finally on sale, woohoo!)
Time for lunch (pb&j, carrots, and fruit)
Carrots: not such a big hit when you don't have many teeth...
Mommy's naptime treat while catching up on e-mails and blog reading (don't judge, I ate spinach salad and carrots for lunch, lol)
Post-nap chore help
Playing before Daddy gets home
Quick stop by Grandma and Granddaddy's to pick up a pattern/fabric and drop off a couple things while Daddy was at home mowing
Hard at work on Avery's "big girl" furniture project after a pancake dinner and Avery's bedtime

The dishes are washed, Avery's lunch is packed for Mother's Day Out, the house is quiet, and now I'm off to bed to start all over again in the morning. Sweet dreams.
